My Spiritual Beliefs
About God and Life
- I believe in one and only one God.
- I believe that this one God is the only spirit and that there is no other that opposes God
- I believe that this God spirit created everything in existence
- I believe that God is all good.
- I believe that since God is all good and He created me, then I too must be essentially good.
- I believe that God is everywhere present at all times. This means that God resides in me, in you and in every living thing.
- I believe that God knows all things, which means that when we call on the God within ourselves we can also know anything. (this is what I call intuition)
- I believe that God is love and therefore we are also called to love
- I believe that love is the only way.
- I believe that we are all sons and daughters of God
- I believe that we were all created uniquely by God and with a special purpose.
- I believe the only sin is living a life that is out of alignment with your unique purpose.
About The Bible
- I believe the bible was written by men who were inspired by God.
- I believe that the bible is a good source of life guidance in our modern times
- I believe that while the bible is a guide (one of many), it is not the ultimate authority on how to live your life.
- I believe there are some stories in the bible that were written to be taken figuratively and not literally.
About Jesus
- I believe that Jesus the Christ was a great man who taught many about God
- I believe that Jesus was the son of God, just as we all are sons and daughters of God
- I believe that Jesus was a great teacher who understood the oneness that we all share with God and with each other.
- I believe that Jesus taught us about the spiritual laws of God and that those who believed what he taught do indeed realize that they have ever-lasting life.
About Fate and Destiny
- I believe that we each co-create our lives with God.
- I believe that the desires of our hearts are the things that God uses to lead us to understand our life’s purpose.
- I believe that God always leads us to our most good, where we can be most beneficial on this planet.
- I believe that we find heaven and hell right here on earth, based on our own actions and level of consciousness
- I believe that if we open ourselves to it, God does guide our daily lives, in whatever matters we ask of Him.
This is me in a nutshell. I do not pretend to know everything, but this list of beliefs are things that through experience I have found to be true in my life.
